Sunny August for our next picnic in London
Lets hope the weather stays fine and the troubles are far away for the next Stopcocks Picnic in the park on Sunday 21st August.
Come along, meet me, our Stopcocks Plumbers and get a chance to share some stories, and maybe join us yourself.
Details:
Green Park Tube (Piccadilly, Victoria, Jubilee Lines)
Meet in Henry’s Cafe Bar at 1pm (directly opposite the tube entrance. Blue front bar)
If the weather is fine, bring a picnic, if not we’ll stay in the cafe.
We will be in Henry’s from 12.45 till 1.30, then we will go on to the park.

We are very excited to be holding our second Stopcocks Picnic in the Park for women plumbers in Manchester’s Whitworth Park on Saturday 30th July from 1-4pm.
The first event was such a success, with women plumbers from Norfolk, Cambridge, London and the West Country, that we think this is the best way to get together to spread the word about Stopcocks, give you an opportunity to join us, and all together have fun in an informal and social setting of bringing food to share and a blanket to sit on.
It did rain in London, but we still had a fab time when we overtook a corner of the cafe (to the surprise of the punters)

What a brilliant event!
The rain poured down, but the plumbers arrived. We convened at Henry’s cafe across the street and created a bit of interest in the bar staff. As we didn’t know what any of the plumbers looked like it was fun to see the faces of those women that weren’t plumbers as Mica waved my book around and asked the women that came in if they were plumbers.
